Family Fun at Creative Clay

Creative Clay for All was founded by Deborah Clarke in 2015. With over 20 years experience working with clay, Deborah has worked in many mediums with groups of all different ages and abilities. She has put together some fun workshops which all the family can enjoy, with the aim to promote a creative imagination whilst allowing you to hone your practical skills. Below is a list of various workshops over the summer.

27th July 2018 – 10.30am to 1pm

Creative Clay For All is back at the Etches Collection for workshops inspired by the museum collection, you will learn a variety of hand building techniques and explore texture and surface decoration to create your own creature. For full details details please see www.theetchescollection.org

Creative ClayAmmonites with Creative Clay For All
We will use pattern, texture, shape and form which children can explore, observe and develop their own creative and imaginative ideas with. The kids will use clay to interpret 2D designs into a 3D reality.

Dinosaurs with Creative Clay For All

Ammonites
Creative Clay For All returns to Lyme Regis museum for a fun clay workshop suitable for all ages. Families can explore textures and coiling technique to create a unique ammonite as it may have looked while alive.

Creative ClayDinosaurs
Deborah from Creative Clay For All will show you a range of handbuilding clay skills. You will be able to create your own unique dinosaur, giving it a personality and facial character. A fun workshop for the whole family. Adults are welcome to make a dinosaur too.
